Is there a free trial available?

We offer a free tier that lets you screen all strategies in the MAG7. For the initial tier with full access to S&P 500 tickers, our Starter plan is just $12/month.

Can I change my plan?

Yes! Our plans can scale with you as you get more comfortable with Option Screener and your trading needs change. At any time, you can upgrade or downgrade and we'll just prorate the difference.

What is the cancellation policy?

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Your subscription will remain active for the remainder of your paid billing period.

What is your refund policy?

If you cancel, your subscription will remain active for the remainder of your paid billing period. Annual plans are refundable within 7 calendar days of an automatic renewal billing.

Do I need to download anything?

No, Option Screener is a web-based analytics platform that runs completely in the cloud which means you never have to download any local desktop software. Access it from any browser.

Is Option Screener a broker?

No, we are purely a fintech research & analytics software service provider. We provide data and screening tools, but all trading must be done through your own brokerage account.

How often is the data updated?

Our options data is updated daily before market open. You'll always have fresh contract data to screen and analyze each trading day.

What strategies are supported?

We support 14 different options strategies including: Long Calls, Long Puts, Covered Calls, Cash-Secured Puts, all vertical spreads (bull/bear call/put), Straddles, Strangles, Calendar Spreads, and LEAPS.

Can I export data?

Yes! Premium subscribers can export their filtered results to CSV for further analysis in Excel, Google Sheets, or any other tool. We also offer an API which can return contracts in JSON form based on the same filters and sorting that you use in the dashboard - both for the current dataset and historical datasets.
